2. Information We Collect

We collect limited information necessary to operate the App, deliver live scores and notifications, show advertisements, and understand overall usage (including the approximate number of people using the App).

Automatically Collected Information:

• Device and technical information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (including Android Advertising ID / GAID, app instance ID, and a randomly generated analytics identifier stored on the device that is regenerated if the App is reinstalled, used to estimate how many people use the App), IP address, language, time zone, and network information.
• Usage and analytics data: App opens, session duration, screens viewed, crash logs, and performance data. This information is collected in aggregated or anonymized form where possible so we can understand approximately how many people use the App and improve it.
• Push notification data: Push-subscription token and related delivery information processed by our push-notification provider (OneSignal) so we can send you the notifications you request (goals, match start, final scores, etc.).
• Advertising data: Advertising ID and related information used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads.
• Approximate location: Derived from your IP address (we do not collect precise GPS location).

Information You Provide or Choose:

• Preferences you set inside the App (favorite teams, leagues, and notification settings). These are primarily stored on your device. Only the information needed to deliver notifications may be sent to our servers. When you use the news feature, the names of teams you follow may be included in search requests so we can find relevant public news articles; we do not store that as a personal profile.

We do not collect:

• Name, email address, phone number, or any other direct personal identifiers
• Precise location
• Contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or other sensitive device data
• Payment or financial information
• Any data that directly identifies you personally beyond the technical and advertising identifiers listed above

We do not require account creation to use the App.

3. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Provide live scores, match details, team/league information, and related content
• Deliver push notifications you have opted into
• Display advertisements via Google AdMob and measure ad performance
• Understand overall App usage and the approximate number of people using the App (analytics) so we can improve performance, fix bugs, and decide on future features
• Maintain App security, prevent abuse, and ensure reliability
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-Party Services and Sharing

We use the following third-party services that process limited data on our behalf:

• Google AdMob (Google LLC) – for displaying ads and measuring ad performance. AdMob may collect your Advertising ID, device information, IP address, and interaction data.
• OneSignal – for push notifications. OneSignal may collect a device push token, device and technical information, and the notification preferences you choose (such as teams, leagues, and match reminders set as tags) to deliver the notifications you request.
• Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) – for analytics and crash reporting on an opt-in basis. These services may collect device identifiers, usage events, and crash data.

These services each process data under their own privacy policy. We share data with these providers only as necessary to operate the App. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.

Sports, news, and player-statistics data (scores, fixtures, standings, team information, and imagery) comes from third-party data and image providers. We do not share your personal or device data with those providers beyond what is required to fulfill requests (for example, your IP address may be visible to them when media is loaded).

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• Push tokens and notification preferences are kept only as long as needed to deliver the notifications you requested, or until you disable them or uninstall the App.
• Analytics, usage, and advertising-related data are retained in aggregated or anonymized form for a reasonable period (typically up to 12 to 24 months) and then deleted or further anonymized.
• Crash and diagnostic data are retained only as long as needed for troubleshooting.

Because the App does not create user accounts, most data is device-based and is removed when you uninstall the App or clear the App data.

You can request deletion of any data we hold about your device by emailing help@codexastudios.site. We will respond within a reasonable time (usually within 30 days or sooner as required by applicable law).

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we collect, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot fully guarantee absolute security.

7. Children’s Privacy
